Are those cakeholes? Can they be shut?
I had to buy a new computer yesterday. The laptop died. Well, it didn't die but it was limping and staggering and I have things I need to do on a computer so it had to be replaced. Which menat taking a big chunk of my money and handing it over to the computer man.
The next few days of my life will be spent installing, installing, installing.
It's a desktop system, PC, and I had forgotten just how freeking loud these things are. I think it has two fans in it and it's like a vacuum cleaner in the next room it's so loud. There's my inspiration for turning it off and thereby saving electricity.
The best part is that I got a new LCD monitor. I, for one, am glad that the days of the cathode ray tube is approaching it's end. (The CRT has another, lovely science-fiction-sounding name that I can't remember or find online at this moment.) The monitor was fairly cheap and it is large. It makes me want to play video games. Cheap computer stuff is one of the nice things about Taiwan. I doubt that I could get these things as cheaply in NA. But it's been awhile since I tried.
Maybe I will try some VGs...
